The location suits us on our travels the choice of restaurants is extremely good and it’s very good if you have a dog as we did.
The Initial by Balladins Béthune is located less than 5 km from the city centre of Béthune and 13 km from Stae Félix-Bollaert Stadium in Lens. It offers en suite bedrooms.

The hotel and room were clean and comfortable. The staff were helpful, but spoke little English. My French is no better. Beuvry was fine as a transit stop, but has little to offer the tourist. Nice windmill.

This hotel was a lovely dog friendly hotel as we travelling to Provence from the UK. The room we were allocated couldn’t have been better. Ground floor with french doors leading onto a garden, which made it so easy for us with a dog. The Restaurant is of a very high standard and Gwenael made us feel very welcome. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

This is a medium sized hotel in a great location for travellers coming from the Eurotunnel Calais exit some hour's drive away. Extremely comfortable and and excellent Michelin recognised restaurant with an interesting and perfectly prepared dinner (advisable to book in advance) served by professionals. Enormous breakfast choices, And very good parking. A quiet location and a lift for travellers with suitcases.
We were just looking for a hotel for the night close to the motorway and a 1 hour drive to Calais, so we booked for the location, but when we arrived it was exceptional from check in, the room, even a bed for our dog, we had dinner in the bar which was one of the best meals we had in France, will be our go to hotel when travelling home from France.
Always excellent stay, good rooms nicely decorated, clean and well thought out hotel got an excellent restaurant and great parking too coupled with helpful friendly efficient staff
