Lovely hotel, friendly staff, good breakfast. I'd definitely stay here again. Walking distance to an incredible cathedral, nice little shops and cafes. Beautiful historical area of Narbonne, not crazy crowded with tourists.

Beautiful setting allying old stones and Scandinavian decor.
Restaurants on site. There was only one open on the night we were there and it was fully booked but the staff at the reception made superb recommendations and drove /picked us there at no charge. The restaurant that was open is « gastronomical ».
There is also a winery onsite (with very knowledgeable people pouring wines) as well as a couple of art shops.
But most and foremost, I need to thank the awesome staff at the reception desk!! We had a major issue with our rental car and they went above and beyond their duties to help us. We wouldn’t have solved our transportation issue without them!! Big kudos!!

This place was exceptional. Location is a quick walk into the centre of Narbonne but situated in a quiet side street where one can feel relaxed and at peace. The rooftop lounge area and pool were perfect for the hot day, and the in room air conditioning was perfect for a hot summer evening. The bed was comfortable, shower pressure was amazing, and facilities were so pristine and clean.

The best thing we saw was the superb new Narbo Via Roman museum. Absolutely wonderful Norman Foster building. If you remember the old church that was used to house these items before you will be amazed. We could easily have spent longer there there except that the restaurant was shut.
Good for kids as well, there are lots of things to build and experiment with.

Narbonne is perfect for a relaxing stay and as a base for the area. We used the local trains for visits to Beziers, Perpignan and Montpellier. Les Halles is a terrific indoor market and walking through the old centre there are plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants. I can't comment on nightlife.

The city itself is very nice -- a cathedral, part of a Roman road, two canals running through it, many excellent restaurants, friendly people. We enjoyed renting electric bikes and taking them to historic Gruissan, a village on the Mediterranean where we had an amazing shellfish lunch on a pier over the water (restaurant name is La Cambuse Du Saunier). The restaurant is located at the site of a desalinization operation.
Also had one of our best meals in France at O Juste, in Narbonne (21 Cr. Mirabeau 11100 Narbonne). It is small, and reservations are a must.

Beautiful, historical town.
Beautiful, historical town. Good amount of bistros/restaurants but some can be quite pricey. We used the supermarkets on some days to keep costs down. The food hall is a MUST.
The architecture is stunning along with the canal, museums and historical sights.
Highly advise getting a car to explore the towns within 30 minute radius.
This hotel is very well located just off the main bridge in Narbonne. The staff are really friendly and helpful and provided us with information when requested. We arrived just before lunch closure, but they allowed us to change out of our cycling gear and leave our bags until later when the room was ready. Tea and coffee are free all day in the breakfast room and there's a little patio to sit outside. Claire and Dylan, on reception, were exceptional and worth a mention.
We really loved the breakfast which was exceptionally generous - home-made yoghurt and pancakes along with pastries and fresh bread. We also liked the garden and surroundings of the hotel, which felt very Mediterranean. It was an easy walk into Narbonne along the canal. It was quite fun to have an indoor pool too - we used it one one of the cooler days. We didn't try the hot-tub but it looked good. The hotel staff were very efficient at cleaning the room too.
The location is amazing, right in the heart of the old city and the medieval part of Narbonne. It is also very close to the train station (10 min walk). From there, we took buses to go to the beach (narbonne plage). It is well equipped and confortable. There is a monoprix not far (big supermarket) and many cafes, bars, bakeries and restaurants at a short distance. It is also closed to the beautiful canal).
Marc and Mimi gave us a very warm welcome at their lovely house. Our room was very spacious, quiet, well equipped and very clean. Breakfast from Mimi’s La boîte magique was excellent. There are some great walks right from the front door and a fantastic bus service into Narbonne, with a bus stop only a few steps away. We loved our three days at Clos Fleuri.
The swimming pool (although shared with another apartment it was always available when we wanted to use it), proximity to Narbonne and Gruissan where there is lots to see and do.
