Lovely small hotel on the edge of town in a residential area but only 10 minutes from Chateau Chambord, the reason for our stay. Staff very helpful. Breakfast on the terrace and a big choice of good quality. Room on the smaller size but good bathroom with large walk-in shower. Would recommend.

A very interesting place with plenty of atmosphere. Beautiful, light rooms which we were shown around and given a description of the history. We had a lovely large room with a four poster. There were a couple of steps to the loo and bidet and the bathroom was on the other side of the room.
A warm welcome was given and there was and plenty of parking. You could go for a walk next to the Loire at the front of the building. The location was very near Chateau de Chambord which was beautiful and which we visited the following day. Helpful advice on places to eat in the vicinity. It can be difficult to find restaurants which are open on Sunday and Monday evenings, but we went to Blois and had luck there.
