The reason my review is not good, is because the information on line says it is air conditioned - which was important for me - but it was not!!! All it had was a fan!!!

The home is on an old street that gives you the feel of actually living there. The family room that looks out on the garden is wonderful and the view from the garden reveals the beautiful countryside of the Perche.

The location was convenient for getting to the center of town. The kitchen was also well-equipped and spacious and the furniture comfortable - as were the beds.

This is a really nice town with everything you want.
This is a really nice town with everything you want. There are some good local shops with very friendly people. There are lots of Antique shops but only seem to open at weekends. Some really good restaurants and bars. The town is a very well kept town with lots of character. It has beautiful countryside within minutes.

We loved everything from the wonderfully warm welcome right through to the superb breakfast the following day!
Lovely couple and although you had on-road parking it was right outside with the owner helping bring in our bags.
Beautifully quirky house and eclectic furnishing and all very tastefully done. The bed was cosy and very comfortable and room 3 was lovely and quiet.
Breakfast was fabulous with homemade preserves, fresh croissants, toast etc, cereals, yoghurt, fruit juice and wonderful coffee, and Thermos happily replenished for onward journey.
House was within 5-10mins walk of lovely town depending on how fast you walk with several eateries.
A definite one to return to!

This hotel is an exceptionally elegant and beautifully thought out by the owners who couldn’t do enough for us. The rooms and house were a perfect example of an ornate French property. Wonderfully clean and tidy, the breakfast was fantastic with freshly baked pastries jams and fruits. They have a lovely garden where you can relax read and sunbathe, you feel like your in the middle of the countryside when in fact you are right in the middle of the town. We will be returning when we come to visit again soon. Thank you for a truly lovely stay.
The location in the oldest part of the, small city, city center. The vibe and look of the hotel. The very stylish and top quality restaurant. The rooms, that are situated in several connected and not connected buildings..the hotel is like a small village itself. Top staff, top service, high class. And we slept very very well there. Parking when you have luck, is on the public parking tree square in front of the hotel. What a pretty hotel with high end staff! We are delicious food, and the service was high class!
We arrived late and rather bedraggled after a day of wet cycling but we were looked after so well in this haven. We brought our takeaway Korean meal back to the hotel and ate it in a remarkable sitting room full of antiques. Indeed the whole building was incredible: it felt unspoilt and full of interesting items and spaces. You could imagine you had stepped magically back into a past century; there we no modern gadgets (such as TVs) to spoil the vibe. We loved it.
Breakfast excellent and comfortable room but no lock. This is a conversion of an old mansion which has clearly given the owner great pleasure and he kindly showed us the elegant rooms he has finished. only 2 visitors on that day
No restaurant on site, but within the beautiful historic town of Mortagne-au-Perche a quality restaurant was recommended by the owner a short walk away
We love this hotel and have stayed here many times. The food is great and the whole atmosphere welcoming and very French. We also love the town and surrounding area.
