Nil’s was the most exceptional. She was extremely patient, kind and helpful. She helped us with questions relating to ski lessons, food options and transport etc. She and one other gentlemen at the bar were the only 2 helpful staff. The other older lady at the reception desk was rude and impatient. Horrible experience we are paying guests and I don’t understand why when we asked questions we were so afraid of her eyes rolling.
Featuring free WiFi throughout the property, Hotel Valérie is set in Montgenèvre, 328 feet from Montgenèvre Ski School. Each room is equipped with a flat-screen TV.

Monginevro, in my opinion, has 2 faces: winter and summer seasons. I was never here during winter, but I believe that is the heart of the tourism season there... Regarding summer activities, there are nice trails and the "Monty" luge, a must for kids and not only.
In the mean time, I believe there is space for improvement: in fact there are many indications for bike tours, etc, but not many info for walk excursions... Trails are not well indicated (if they are indicated) not only during the paths, but not even, for instance, at the end of the lifts. Moreover, in my case at least, there is no number to identify a trail of there is a number but with no info about what this number codes for.
Other than that, the surrounding areas are very nice even if, given the height (1850m), the tree line is very narrow.

In the summer, enjoy cool weather and immerse yourself in nature with hiking and cable car rides amidst the majestic Alps. Delight in the comfortable mountain activities, with mostly Italian cuisine that's reasonably priced.

Montgenevre is well placed at the French end of the Milky Way ski area, so you can ski over into Italy on the extended lift pass. Lots of areas to explore. Long transfer from Geneva - flight to Turin preferable.

Great ski town for beginners through to advanced.
Great ski town for beginners through to advanced. My 17 year old daughter noted the lack of apres ski for her age group, and I noted the lack of open fires to warm feet at when coming off the slopes. We also found it a bit difficult to find bars/restaurants on the slopes.

perfect small resort with great lifts and variety in the area. Hotels and apartments to cater for all needs. Such great value cost for a lift pass too when considering skiing for a whole week. Only 1hr 20 from Turin and an easy drive too. Easy to get around and great places to eat and drink too

Great location with ski hire shops, ski school, ski passes and a supermarket very close by. Street parking too if needed.
Super clean.
Great living space and bedrooms for 2 families of 4 or a big family!
Ski locker on ground floor. Access via 1st or 2nd floor, note there is no lift, although not a problem for us.
Linked to hotel so possible to use their spa facilities, but a bit of a walk to collect keys.
Comfortable apartment in a good location. Excellent big fridge and kitchen had a great selection of equipment, utensils & cutlery. Apartment right next to ski hire and supermarket. Ski lifts 10 minute walk. Excellent hotel parking located under the building.
The hotel is a bit outdated. But it is well located and clean. The staff is very friendly. The price-performance ratio is very good. The Wi-Fi is not fast, but reliable and stable. There is free parking nearby (100m). Towels are changed every day
