Nice place, not too expensive, comfortable bed, and quite clean! Private parking was superb.
Supermarket and a couple of fast food restaurants were nearby. Couldn’t find any restaurant to sit and eat, most of them were closed permanently. There were many nougat artisan nearby to buy if you wanted. That was amazing.
Montélimar is cute to walk around. It is a pity I don’t have time to try the wine.

It was a quaint little Inn in the heart of the city. It also had excellent breakfast and a high quality restaurant with local fare. A charming place! Christian is a terrific host. We had to leave early in the morning and he left us a tray with coffee and muffins and also arranged a taxi for us. Delightful little place!

Our group (5 friends and family, all on a cycling tour) *loved* Maison Saint James. The hostess was super friendly and accommodating, the property was wonderful, and the location was truly great. We prefer to stay away from "tourist districts", and while I don't think Montelimar has a real tourist district at this time of the year -- late September -- we enjoyed being in a real neighborhood yet still with easy access to shopping, dining, and so on.
Rooms were large, quiet, and private. The breakfast was varied and delicious, including not only very fresh (still warm) bread from a quality bakery, but also homemade items from the hostess' kitchen.
As I said, we loved the comfortable familiarity of the Maison. When we return to Montelimar (and we will!), we hope to be able to stay here again.

Room was super comfortable, great bed and quality linen. The whole villa was elegantly decorated and spotless. Breakfasts were great with lovely egg dish each morning , fresh croissants , fruit , yoghurt, great coffee and served in a lovely setting. The hosts were very welcoming very hospitable and fun to chat with. They provided good advice on local attractions and restaurants . The garden and pool were also lovely. All in all , top class.

Montélimar is a cute little town & Rochemaure nearby is a short cycle from there & back - all on dedicated bike path. I recommend sending 2 nights at Le Jardin in Montelimar & taking à day to cycle to Rochemaure & visit the town.

My bag was stolen from the train en route to Marseilles...
My bag was stolen from the train en route to Marseilles airport when I left. The police said that Avignon is a hot spot for this.. Anyone is allowed on the train platforms and apparently thieves wait at the stations and grab any unattended bag when the train stops and the doors opens. I had no idea.. I was sitting below it and it was too large to fit on any of the baggage racks so I left it at the top of the stairs.. It was devastating as it was full of gifts and all my clothing and I was en route to a cruise in the North Sea.. I highly recommend that other travellers take care on the French trains.. Pleasant and lively French town. The Tourist Information Office gives you clear indications about what to see and do in the time you have. Plenary of shops and places to eat. The only problem is the scorching heat in the summer.

A nice castle but the city is like other french cities not that nice because there are no nice shops in the center and everything is closed. The city center is very dull but it has the potential to be very nice.
The Apartment is very spacious, super well equipped, well supplied and impeccably clean. The apartment is right at the foot of the bridge but it was very quiet, we had three restful nights there.
The view of the beautiful Château de Montélimar is a big plus.
Pierre and Samia answer messages quickly and are always accommodating.
Montelimar is a lovely little French town. Ibis Styles is located only a few minutes by foot from the center and is well reachable by car with free parking. The room was small but quite clean. They provided a bed for our baby.
A well cared for hotel - our room was clean and comfortable. The 2 staff were helpful and efficient. The hotel was convenient and well kept. Would recommend and certainly go back.
