Brilliant hosts. Stayed for work and left at staggered times throughout the night but hosts were incredibly flexible and very welcoming. Would loved to have stayed and chatted longer.

Lovely gite close to the owners house in a beautiful part of France. Huge garden ( with a big swimming pool ) bordered by a river and a stream. The gite had everything you could need for a long, self contained, stay and Chris and Trace were wonderful hosts. Montbron is only a few minutes walk away and has a couple of supermarkets and a few bars. We particularly enjoyed canoeing (canoe centre is a few hundred yards away) along the Tardoise and also visits to nearby caves, a medieval festival in Rochefoucauld and the town of Angouleme as well as a very poignant visit to the abandoned village at Oradour-Sur-Glane. We would definitely stay again if in the area.

Quiet and beautiful location with friendly lovely hosts. Breakfast was lovely with homemade pancakes and great selection. When arrived hosts greeted us with coffee and cakes.would definitely recommend staying there.
