Large room (triple) but no view. Since we were in transit, no problem. Funky styling and the large tub in the spacious bathroom was great for soaking the soar muscles from the long drive.The location is right in the center of town. However, we didn't feel there was much to see. Maybe we should have taking the staff's suggestion to take a walk in the park. The breakfast is excellent. Fresh juice, sausage, scrambled eggs etc. etc. This Ibis Styles is a few steps up from your average Ibis. The beds are really good as well.

The communication was excellent, booking was easy and the accommodation was beautiful. So many excellent little touches to welcome us to the apartment, which was really pleasing.
Obviously the owners have put in a lot of work to make this a beautiful place to stay. Lots of space and modern facilities. A wonderful balcony to take in the city and walking distance to the old city and places to eat & drink.
We would highly recommend this to other travellers for one or multiple night stays in Montbéliard and thank the hosts very much.
This is one of the most terrific B&B's that I have stayed in. A wonderful secluded villa near the centre of Montbéliard , a wonderful garden and terrace, and a terrific spacious room with bath and all amenities one might need. The host makes you feel as if you were the king of France. Staying here makes you feel reborn! Have dinner here, because you will be getting a royal treatment. I loved it and will surely be back here whenever in the region (or even make a detour just to stay here).
The place is a beautiful old house with its old furniture and style. It is very cozy and I feel like in an old movie. Everything here works slowly, breakfast is basically prepared on the moment and consists on bread with different spreads, a piece of local cheese and coffee. It does not follow modern standards of hotel service but I find that to be part of the charm. One must not expect a hotel in the traditional sense of the word, this is more like an inn in a Lord of the rings movie.
Good value for the price. You get what you expect from a budget hotel, no more, but without anything to complain about. The rooms are clean, recent and the staff sympathetic. Sound insulation is also better than the average motel.
