Wonderful character and beautiful interior decorations and renovations. You can tell this place is very well loved and looked after.
The room was a nice introduction to the Loire Valley. We enjoyed the comical breakfast tables and food as well. The plantings, trees, river and nature around the buildings were very relaxing. Sweet dog as well.
Le logis de Chambord is located in Mont-près-Chambord, just 3 miles from Chateau de Villesavin and 6 miles from Château de Chambord. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking.
The room was super clean. I've travelled a lot, and this is definitely something that is not always done properly, even in 4/5-star hotels. The bed is really comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need for a short stay. The shower was also perfectly cleaned, albeit rather cramped for a tall person like me. The owner gave us a few recommendations for visiting and eating out. Not everyone does.
The hotel was really easy to find and was located well for visiting the area. We came to see Chambord specifically and chose the hotel just for the one night. Great choice! It was very clean and had everything we needed for an overnight stay. The staff were really nice and helpful and the breakfast was good and there was plenty of it.
All round a good place to spend a few nights.
Friendly staff, good room, good breakfast. Ideal location for both Cambord and Cheverney castles. We enjoyed hotel restaurant and also another excellent local restaurant.
