The beaches away from Mimizan Plage were great, especially the two we visited to the south.
Mimizan Plage itself had an uninteresting frontage to the beach, had standard beach resort facilities. But to get to it we passed a huge paper factory, which at times gave off a strong smell.

Good choice of restaurants in Mimizan Plage. Not to far from Mimizan Bourg for bigger shop(s) and a great market. Quiet when out of season, but that is just what we wanted - it would be too busy for us in high season.

The location was far better than I expected, as I thought it was nearer the papetrie. The pool was better than I expected as it was 8 x 5m and deep. I had toilet facilities near to my room and a sink in the room.
It was very comfortable.
Mobile home, whilst a little dated, was well equipped, and everything in the mobile home worked.
We specifically booked a property with air conditioning which isn't common in France, and it worked well!
