Such a beautiful place, entirely redecorated, zen, warm and welcoming. The entrance, the courtyard, the bar, the central location, the staff, the facilities, the bedroom. A little jem.

Very clean studio apartment really friendly lovely host who met me at the property gave me the keys showed me around and was very friendly and helpful. Big bonus was a garage as I had arrived on my motorbike and it’s lovely to be able to secure that away rather than have it out on the street so that was great.

Loudeac is a lovely quiet French town in the centre of Brittany. A perfect location for touring all parts of Brittany yet only an hour and 15 mins from the port of St Malo. There are some beautiful shops and perfect patisseries. All the people we met were very friendly and helpful. Loudeac is very easy to get around on foot.

The staff of this hotel went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. In particular they coped tremendously with our fractured French and were able to answer all of our questions! The room (one bedroom suite) was fantastic with all necessary facilities. My partner even managed to watch his British football match on the wide screen TV. Please note that there is a flight of stairs up to this room so perhaps not suitable for the less mobile, although no problem for us.
Excellent restaurant as part of the hotel with a limited menu but super food.
Pool and spa which was a new facility and looked cool. Very friendly and positive management
The Chambres d’hôtes was an excellent place to stay in Loudéac. There are some places in the town to eat dinner, though not on a holiday week in August
