It was near the main attractions and the owner Patel was wonderful helping me get in contact with booking.com concerning a problem I had at a previous 1 bed apartment which I left in a hurry after 1 night as I believe the host came into the apartment when I was out for the day. Patel speaks French so he spoke to booking.com and waited patiently on hold and was marvelous helping me out. His Employee who cleans the rooms was so kind and accommodating at my every request. I highly recommend this hotel, good honest family owned and go out of their way to help. Thank you

The breakfast was quite good. The pastries and toppings were excellent, and the coffee drinks were just fine.
The location was very good, because all of the holy sites of Lisieux were within a decent walking distance.

Location in centre of the town.
Location in centre of the town. Secure parking for motorcycle in a domestic size garage around the corner from the hotel.
Not the hotels fault but somebody on street outside with TV blaring long into the night, eventually a local resident had an argument and the noise stopped

This stay was a most welcomed surprise as we were not too sure what to expect, and it was exceptional. Arrived late and tired but met a with a warm welcome, and apartment was stunning. Easy access to township with all we wanted within walking distance. Invigorating stopover.

Friendly locals. Very good tourist information centre.
Friendly locals. Very good tourist information centre. Lots of charming parks, walks by the river. Seems not to be on the tourist track although they make a big deal about the Basilique.
A genuine French town, little affected by overseas tourists. It was possible to find unique shops - a second-hand "recycling" store with furniture, small collectibles, electronics and a microbrewery right next door (along the river in the southwest corner of town). The unusual always appeals to us.

Friendly people, some splendid architecture. Good parking.

Some wonderful towns and villages with remarkable history. Normandy is tied to our shared past to a far greater extent than most people are aware of.
Lisieux also makes a great place to strike out from, and to return to to paw over your experiences over a meal and a drink. A good nights sleep and breakfast sets you up for the next experience.
Great markets and fresh produce with depth of flavour and character.

Used Lisieux as a center for the things we wanted to see. Really likes Mon Saint Michel, Entretat and the Normandy war monuments (beaches and cemetery). Could have spared some miles if we would have changed hotels everyday I guess.

The young man on the desk when we arrived was really helpful (sorry I didn't note the name), offering the choice to speak either English or French which made life easier for me.
The room was clean and as comfortable as expected for a hotel of this type.
We ate in the restaurant which was excellent value, well cooked and presented. Staff in the restaurant were really pleasant and efficient. All in all a very positive experience which I would recommend.
It was centrally located so right next to Cathedral but that means church bells ringing constantly! Plus all the bars and eateries nearby all closed around 8pm on a Saturday night. No one was serving food and ended up with kebab to eat. Breakfast in hotel 10euros each so didn't order it as overpriced. Busy noisy road below, though great balcony view.
It was such a lovely hotel, the team were super friendly and helpful at all times. The room was perfect for us with two young children as they were on sofa beds in a seperate room and we had a fridge. The location was ideal for walking around and exploring the town.
Staff was helpful and location of the hotel was very central and close to pilgrimage sites if you are interested in that. Breakfast was good and room was nice.
