The hotel is on an industrial site outside Lillebonne and was mostly used by workers from the nearby docks. It was fine, a very standard working person's hotel but I would never book there for a holiday stay or a romantic visit. Food was fine, standard French fare.

Lillebonne feels like quite an industrial town*, despite the Roman amphitheatre, but we rather liked it, the people were friendly. We found a very lively bar full of locals for an early evening drink. Also had a very good pizza at a tiny place next to the hotel.
*There is a massive oil refinery a couple of miles away, which won't be to everyone's liking!
I rate this hotel as the best in France. Everything was perfect. My room was big and airy with a wonderful view from two big windows. The staff actually seemed to enjoy their jobs. Breakfast was cheap but better than most. Centrally located in a really pretty town. I have been trekking in France for 2 months with different accommodation every night and this hotel is the best I have stayed in.

There are the remains of a Roman amphitheatre at the rear of the hotel, which were sadly closed to the public for our visit. Really good breakfast.
