Charming and beautiful, and the owner was friendly and welcoming. There was an olive tree right outside my window and the gardens were so pretty and it was very close to the castle. You could take a little path from the property for a short walk up to the castle. The terrace was beautiful where you could have breakfast or you could have it indoors in the charming cellar

It was great to stay in such a beautiful, peaceful and historic location.

Les Baux-de-Provence is undeniably a stunning landmark with its dramatic cliffs, historic ruins, and breathtaking views. The charm of the medieval village and its surroundings is truly something to behold.
However, it's worth noting that the prices for basic goods and services in the area can be quite shocking. From restaurants to water bottles, the cost of everything seems to be significantly inflated. While the village itself is worth a visit for its beauty and history, be prepared for sticker shock and plan accordingly.
Enjoy the sights, but be cautious with your spending to avoid the exorbitant prices charged by some establishments.

You need a car to take advantage of Les Beau and its environs. The castle and "village/hamlet" of Les Baux can be walked through in a day. More joy lies in exploring the surrounding villages and towns -- Mouries, Maussane, Paradou, and down to St. Martin le Crau. I found the exploration very worthwhile; beautiful to visit, excellent small markets, and a true southern France feel.

Two tips when you are travelling around les Baux de Provence: first you shouldn't miss the show at Les Carrières de Lumière. The location is breathless and the show (the main painter is changing every 6 months, we saw Dali, Klimmt and Van Gogh the past two years). And Second, wake up early and go to visit this old village around 9 O'Clokc. The streets are emplty and you can benefit of the fantatstic morning light to admire the stunning panorama from the top of the old Castle. As the restaurant was closed because of Covid we wnet to the nearby city in a fantastic "a la bonne franquette" pizza place in Maussane : Pizza Brun. The pizzas are amongst the best I ever eat.

The room was very convenient with a huge bathroom which was great.
We went to both Bistro and Restaurant which were really good. Of course the restaurant is the crown jewel - amazing food and staff.
We also used the internal swimming pool and SPA which was really good.
My wife went for a hot stone massage which was also very good.
The hotel is spacious and coming in this time of year allowed us to seat outside while having breakfast, bar drinks and dinner.
Finalizing the staff was really supportive, polite and so very helpful!!
A beautiful country hotel outside Arles. The grounds and pool and restaurant area are charming and calm. We ate in the restaurant one evening and the food was superb. It was a perfect location to explore the countryside and visit Arles, St Remy and the Carmague
The views are sublime. In the hotel you are surrounded by les Alpilles, views of the castle and a generally peaceful environment. If you want to hang out and enjoy the views, the pool, or sit in the garden or bar, this hotel provides welcoming spaces.
A beautiful rustic unique hotel. Friendly staff excellent wifi. Slightly out of town , no buildings anywhere near ( as far as I could see) pool good, great patio for breakfast or an evening ( draught) beer. Lovely breakfast
Hotel is delightful
