Really unusual decor, all unique themed rooms, ours was the 'wild west'. All hand crafted by the owner, wonderful!
All amenities, wash machine, dryer, oven, dishwasher, very comfy bed, tv in bedroom and studio kitchen/diner.
Loved safe parking in apartment compound behind a locked gated entrance. Important to us in our camper sprinter van, a very roomy car park.
They also supply a breakfast if required around €8.50.
Only hassle for us was a unique one as our dog is 15 years old and couldn't make the stairs and we knew when we booked it had stairs but they were narrower and steeper than expected so we had to carry her, which she did not love.
We'd highly recommend staying here. A lovely stopover on our way to south Spain.
L'Ile de Sees is located a 30-minute drive north of Alençon and just 6 km from the centre of Sées. This 2-star hotel is set in a former dairy farm and now offers an on-site bar and restaurant.

A perfect location for peace and tranquility. The accommodation was spotlessly clean with excellent facilities (we booked the Charleston suite) Although we weren’t self catering it was nice to have the kitchen facilities. The bed was very comfortable and bed linen very good quality. The room was spacious cosy and well equipped. The host Nicolas was very welcoming and helpful with his knowledge of the area. We booked in for two nights but extended our stay with three extra nights. Would definitely recommend and we look forward to returning :-)
