EVERYTHING!
Perfect beyond expectations.
The Breakfast was an experience that I will never forget. There was a plethora of local specialties and all from farms and small producers! Such great care in the abundance variety and especially quality! From the teas selection to the jams and cheeses and so on! Plus the friendly staff would constantly replenish the supply. For example the orange juice was freshly squeezed and she would renew it all the time!
Also the room was warm and the aircond was free ti be regulated which is a privilege these days in hotels!
The bed was very comfortable, I slept like a log!
Great place even if not in Le Puy technically it is only 5 minutes by car to the city center, plus there is a pub close by and a burger King 😀

Breakfast was excellent: staff were very helpful and kept things stocked and tidy. Room was adequate for a short stay - we really enjoyed the AC. The location was convenient for a late arrival by train after 24 hours of travel, and for walking around the whole city.

Le Puy is a unique place and if you are reasonably fit, you will enjoy it more as it is hilly and all the top sites require some climbing. I have been here 3 times over the course of my life and just love it

Plenty to do, lots to see, good restaurants & shops. Wonderful surrounding area with castles, lakes and waterfalls. The Museum Crozatier has excellent displays explaining the geological formation of the key features. The lace-making centre does full- or half-day courses - maybe next time!

This small inn is exquisite for its historic experience and modern comfort. The host was both charming and helpful (booking a taxi on short notice when taxis in the area are limited).
Of our five accommodations, this inn was our favourite on our trip through France.

Excellent location; for exploring the old city, area.
Excellent location; for exploring the old city, area. Great history of the 16th century lodge, which is renovated into this lovely building.
The owner, was extremely helpful, helping me get settled; after my late arrival. Also; very accommodating when it was time to relocate, and prepare for my “Camino de Saint Jacques”.

Unless you haven't noticed there is an international pandemic occurring. One of the negative effects of this has been the closure of boarders in Europe including France. Hence I haven't stayed at this hotel!!!!!!

Great welcome from friendly and happy receptionist/manager. I had booked the wrong date by mistake and this was changed with no fuss or penalty, which was kind as my mistake meant I had booked a room but did not turn up until a day later. No attempt was made to charge for the missed night. It was not at a busy time and the hotel was not full, so, little loss to them, but it shows a good attitude to not try to take advantage of an error.
We only had the one night as we were traveling South to Spain. The lady on the desk was very informative and helpful to us as we must have looked like drowned rats as the weather was extremely wet and we were traveling by motorcycle. We had secure parking in the garage for our m/c. The room was warm and spacious with a good size bed. The bar area and restaurant were pleasant enough. The breakfast was of good quality. Good hotel.
Good location within 10-15 minutes walk of the main attractions of the wonderful old town. The breakfast was good and the bed was comfortable. we had aircon in our room which whilst loud was very effective. We were able to park at the hotel for €8 a night. Staff were good and friendly.
A nice little hotel with a friendly & helpful owner , we emailed ahead to book a restaurant where we could eat the famous lentils of the region , which was done by the owner , also a very friendly guy
Great location for all the main parts of Le Puy. Quiet room looking over the square at side. Good food in Brasserie which joins hotel. Very helpful staff at reception.
