The restaurant and decor were really nice, the staff were friendly. All the restaurants in Mont-Dore were booked out, but even though they were too, they found some space for us.

Different property in excellent location. Staff very helpful and cooking facilities and breakfast excellent. Room and bathroom whilst small had all necessary facilities and was on second floor up circular stairs within a tower.

This 19th-century hotel is located in the centre of beautiful Mont Dore, and makes a wonderful base for exploring the Massif du Sancy.

Very smart hotel. The hotel has been renovated to a high standard but retains original features such as it's wide sweeping staircase.
We had a lovely room, beautifully decorated and again, retaining original features. It wasn't a big room but the bed was big and so comfortable. Just enough storage space with the wardrobe and shelves. Excellent quality bedding and towels. The bathroom was lovely and spacious with plenty of storage for toiletries.
An added bonus was a kettle and tea/coffee!!
There is plenty of secure parking in the hotel grounds.
Plenty of shops and eateries nearby.

We ate breakfast in the hotel which was incredible and ate out for other meals (not available in out hotel).
Bit of a nuisance to search for other places to eat - the month was September and quite a few places were closed.
The Cafe de Paris was a reliable stop gap.

We were looking for a nice place to stay during our trip from the south of France to The Netherlands. The hotel is clean and efficient, though overall somewhat dated. The staff was kind and helped us out. The nearby village provides with enough shops and restaurants as we had one afternoon and evening to cover. It looked like there were many outdoor activities going on (hiking, toboganning, etc.). Being there for one night, we did not participate so I cannot comment on those.

Le Mont-Dore is a very picturesque town with all the facilities you could need. As well as the proximity to attractions in the area, there are good bars and restaurants along with a thermal spa where you can relax in the town.

Bowling, ice rink, lots of places to eat but must book, good bars, Hotel Londres is a lovely hotel with really friendly staff and great breakfast, mostly made in house including the pastries and preserves.

Mont Dore is a very picturesque town, with stone houses and friendly people. The smell of cheese and hot wine during winter is present non-stop in the centre of the town, where most of the stores and restaurants are. We had a great time skiing, but I would like to come back during warmer months to discover the forest trails, which are scattered around Mont Dore. Definitely recommend!

There were four of us in our party & we all loved everything about it. We'll go again & make it a longer visit.
There's plenty to do in good weather & a few indoor activities when it isn't.
There are many lovely restaurants, cafes & bars most of which are really reasonably priced. an interesting array of shops too.
Nearby Besse is also worth a day trip.

Just spent a peaceful weekend in this lovely apartment in Mont Dore. The apartment was fantastically located just a short walk from the town center and on the way to the ski station. The views from the terrace of the hills and forest were beautiful. Parking right outside. Apartment was comfortable and well equipped. Communication and key handover was excellent. Would love to return.
Fantastic staff who provided a very warm welcome, gave excellent advice on things to do as well as giving us first class service throughout our 4 night stay.

Mostly everything, keeping in mind it is a 2 star hotel. Good value for money, at least in June. Clean. Nice views. Comfortable beds. Electric car charger in front of the hotel. Free parking in front of the hotel. Nice restaurant for dinner (also with great views). Babbling brook outside the window.
