Love Lacanau.
Love Lacanau. It has the best atlantic beaches or the quieter lakes. The whole areas is covered in pines and smells beautiful. Lacanau ocean has smart shops and restaurants, some markets, and a rally good atmosphere.

Close (by car) to Lacanau-Ocean surfing beaches. Attention: We went there by car. There might be ok public transport but we have not tried it (our impression is that you might need a car to get around quickly).
Great house, brand-new, with 3 good size bedrooms and a beautiful kitchen, living-room & lake-view terrace on the first floor. Perfectly positionned next to the lake for swimming, kayaking & water-park; All cycle paths are running in front of the house, so very easy to get to Lacanau ocean by bike as well;
