I wanted to like it, I really did. The location is good and it’s pretty close to the beach walking.
The on site parking is great.
However the WIFI never truly worked, logging in every time was a struggle and the few times it worked it was just way too slow to even pull pages. You may be able to send and receive one email a day, but that’s the maximum it’ll work.
Very disappointed because the only reason I booked this place was because of the wifi score reviews here on Booking.com.
There were plenty of other places, many were actually more charming, but the only reason I picked this one was the WIFI and it never properly worked.
It’s actually kind of outrageous, I’m not even talking about streaming or watching videos on YouTube whatsoever, but just having to work and pull random pages. I had an hour or two of work to do every day on my stay here, and it took me 5 hours instead. I’m pretty angry at this place for not upgrading their wifi.
The Tassimo coffee machine in the room is very outdated and doesn’t even provide hot water only and there is no fridge either. When entering the 100€ + /night territory, a small fridge would be the minimum and either a kettle or a proper machine that provides hot water.
Hotel Cote d’'Argent faces the ocean and is just steps away from the beach. Some of the en suite rooms have a balcony with splendid views of the ocean.

This was the best accommodation ever. New appartment fully equipped: kitchen, laundry. Spatious, charming. Very close to the beach. Parking just outside. Excellent stay for a surf holiday in Lacanau Ocean.

I enjoyed staying at the hotel on the beach, unfortunately the town and area is undergoing roadworks, and once I was able to navigate round them to the hotel, it didn't effect my stay.
There are plenty of places to eat and lots of lovely shops to browse around.

The location was unbeatable. 100 metres from the beach. 200 metres from a grocery shop and 400 metres from the town centre. The apartment was fine. The mattress and pillows for the double bed seemed new and was really good (on the firm side, but perfect for bad backs). It got all the basic appliances you need and it was comfortable enough for a family of 4.
The host was nice, the location was very good (with bicycle close to the beach) with a big yard, kitchen equipment simple but sufficient inlcuding barbeque outside. Alltogehter a very nice house and we enjoyed our stay, but there was one thing that was a burden to us...
Location is awesome, in front of the beach and near to groceries and main stores. The apparemment has an incredible ocean view and is very quiet. It is small but enough for a few nights for 4 people.
