Our bicycles were stored securely in an outbuilding. We had the option to have dinner at La Villa des Remparts, but unfortunately had to decline because of a dietary requirement. Our room and the whole house was extravagantly decorated in the Belle Epoque style. The bedroom looked onto the classical styled garden; the bed was comfortable and we slept well. Breakfast was served at a large dining table which was sumptuously decorated and laden with a variety of foods.

We stayed for two nights and spent a day relaxing, the kids had fun in the pool and everyone was happy. Breakfast was continental and the property itself is lovely. It’s a very peaceful location.

The silence! Very rural and all the better for it. Charming house surrounded by fields and very handy for Saint-Justin which has two excellent restaurants. We tried the Cadet le Gascogne and had a very good dinner. The room was thoughtfully designed by Sylvie our delightful host. There was a problem with the WiFi as we couldn’t seem to get on to it, but in some ways it was a relief to be free of it for a night! Password issue?

Comfortable, beautifully decorated, modern ……. renovated barn for breakfast & dinner. Isabelle & Floran were so delightful. Very knowledgeable about what to visit locally …… and fantastic cooks. Two delicious meals, best we’ve had.

We had no idea that it was such a beautiful and old village. Not much choice for dinner being a Sunday evening, but the pizzeria which was open was fabulous & out a local spin on the dishes ( I had smoked duck and peach pizza)
