La Maison Sur La Sorgue is absolutely stunning. A gorgeous old mansion beautifully renovated right in the centre of the old town. Frederick is the most charming and thoughtful host. The rooms are divine and the bed so comfortable. The breakfast Frederick served was like a work of art. The cutlery was so cute we purchased a set from Frederick’s store next door.
We loved every moment and will definitely be back again.
Thank you Frederick for creating such a beautiful place to stay.

Great little town with lots of antique and brica-brac stores to see.
Lots of choices of restaurants to choose from. Parking is a bit of a nightmare if you're staying in walking distance of the village.

A really pretty little town on the river with plenty of restaurants, shops and a couple of busy weekly markets to explore. There are a lot of antiques stores to see in the town, if that is your interest, but parking spaces seem to fill up quite quickly on the days we were there. There are plenty of other places to visit within an hour's drive from there, such as Avignon

What a gem.
What a gem. I enjoyed the surprises of this small town and its magnificent cathedral. You wouldn't have thought it could be hidden away as it is. The market produce and variety of other items is well worth it. Being surrounded by water means every direction leads to a surprising view and most likely a cafe or restaurant on the waterfront. If you are an antique lover you will find lots to look at and explore, for sure.

Very pretty compact town centre with two large and popular markets a week, good supermarkets and speciality shops, lots of antique shops and cafes lining the numerous (very clean) streams running through the town and decent play parks for young children. Lots of watermills on the streams. Easy walking as flat. Quick access to the surrounding hill top villages and Avignon.

Very pretty and compact
It’s a great town
Very pretty and compact
Unusual and beautiful setting around the Sorgue river and canals
Good shopping and lots of restaurants
Not too many cobblestones or stairs to negotiate with wheeled luggage
Streets are paved
Architecture not as spectacular as Gordes, but easier to use as a base
Sunday markets
Antiques and galleries
Avignon is easy to reach ( not worth visiting the popes’s palace though)

Having a lovely and peaceful hotel to step back in to on a hot day with a pool was wonderful.
It is a friendly and pretty town with lots to see and do.
The first day was a late afternoon wandering around.
Dinner was at a terrace restaurant and lovely fresh food.
Saturday, more wandering and swimming in the afternoon as it was hot.
We went to a lovely, tiny restaurant called La Confidence - wonderful fresh food and owners who recommended wine.
Sunday was the huge local produce, linen, ceramics and antique market. Definitely worth a visit and finally lunch at Cafe de France before we left.

It is beautiful 18 century home. The historic charm, lovely kitchen and amazing dining room, made our south of France a wonderful experience. It’s homely and comfortable. The location is unbeatable, as it is directly and one of the plazas that hosts the Sunday and Thursday’s market.
A lovely hotel we have stayed at several times before. Perfectly located but quiet. Great bedrooms, even the standard doubles. Decorated in great taste. Super restaurant, nice comfortable bar. Friendly staff. Private secure parking. Highly recommended
