Pascale is a superb host. A really beautiful property, we had the pool and terrace to ourselves with various chairs and loungers. Views are glorious. A 5 minute drive from Jarnac town. Bedroom was clean and comfortable with the bonus of a sofa. Coffee, milk, sugar and cakes, sweets provided which was a really nice touch. Bathroom was very modern and clean. Pascale asked everyday which time we would like breakfast and it was served beautifully fresh with a few different choices everyday. Outdoor kitchen area with everything you need and use of the fridge to keep drinks cool. Parking in owners driveway. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend. Thank you Pascale ..

Booked last minute (same day), easy check-in, staff professional and friendly. We had a lovely room, light and airy and a very comfortable bed too. We were able to eat in the restaurant which was excellent, however it was a little pricey. The quality and presentation of the food was beautiful and tasted gorgeous though.

Very well appointed apartment in the heart of Jarnac. Easy walking to restaurants and bars and boulangeries in the morning. Despite being on the river there was no water noise once inside the apartment. Views over the Charente from the large roof terrace are amazing, particularly at sunset. The concierge service was also impeccable. Plenty of free parking only a short walk away in the centre of town or nearby side streets. Highly recommend this property if you’re looking for a base within the Cognac countryside.
Everything, the Gite was better than we had expected. It is well equipped with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Well situated within walking distance of Jarnac town centre and only a short drive away from Cognac. Our hosts were charming and couldn't do enough for us. The fishing on the Charante river just outside the Gite was also very good.
Lovely welcome. Interesting and different hotel. Lovely room, very quiet even though it was in a central location. Easy walk to the River Charente. Easy parking. We had an enjoyable meal in the hotel's restaurant nearby. Breakfast very good. Overall a lovely and pleasant experience.

Jarnac minutes away but so nice to stay out of town in a quiet environment.
