The location and the concierge’s were excellent. However, the room was tiny and loud, and the bed was extremely uncomfortable. The floors were not clean and I know this because I stepped on a piece of broken glass. Breakfast was exceptionally good.

Right on the beach- great location! This was a very family friendly apartment, with a furnished kitchen, a crib, and toys + beach toys for our child. The host was extremely friendly and it was a very nice place to stay. Parking was in a private garage behind the apartment, and it was a short walk into town as well

Beautiful location across the street from the beach! The bed was clean and comfortable, the kitchen was well set up, and the bathroom was also clean with a nice welcome kit provided

Houlgate was the nicest discovery in the Normandy region. It's a small town/city that is absolutely beautiful, the beach is huge so its not crowded, one can walk for kilometres. The houses are perfectly restored and preserved as in the old times, because they have been passed from one generation in the family to another....and this for the last 400 years at least. People are VERY friendly, there are nice boutiques, and you find quite a few of top-rated restaurants; and otherwise, nice creperies and simple pizzerias (for all budgets). Houlgate is a must.

What a gem of a town,very good restaurants and plenty to chose from. The beach is safe and sand for miles. A Parisian weekend destination,many houses are Maison secondaries, very clean and well loved town I think.

We had a fantastic stay and the staff were brilliant. The room provided everything we needed and was lovely and quiet.
We had our evening meal there and it was excellent value for money and was well presented and very tasty. They even let us order some food which was not advertised with the meal on the menu. The breakfast was also excellent and again, the staff were brilliant. There were plenty of parking spaces outside the hotel. Also, only a short walk to the shops and beach.
Beautiful apartment only a few hundred meters from beach and right in the middle of shops and restaurants! The whole apartment is so spacious and very well equipped. There is lots of free parking near by and we didn’t need to use the car during our stay as there was plenty to do in Houlgate!
The apartment size was perfect, very well furnished, big terrace with nice sea view, plenty of towels, a shower room and a bathroom, 2 toilets, fully equiped kitchen, - we were very comfortable. Pool with beautiful view. Parking, spa, plenty of activities around.
