We've stayed here twice before. It's a convenient 1hr drive from Calais. Quiet, quirky rooms and plenty of parking. What is a little odd is the relationship with the hotel next door. This time, it's reception was also covering La Metarie. Not a problem unless it's raining , just a bit of a walk between the two establishments. Breakfast was served in the Hotel La Chatreuse. Dinner was served in its associated restaurant La Distillerie.
The Originals Boutique, La Maison Rouge, Lens Ouest is located in Nœux-les-Mines, a 10-minute drive from Louvre-Lens Museum and Béthune and a 20-minute drive from Arras.

The Château is is extremely imposing and beautifully appointed. The dining room was very impressive and left a perfect impression. Our server was superb and made dinner a greater pleasure. The dinner itself was of the highest standard we experienced in France. The grounds were vast and beautifully kept. The whole place was a credit to the owners and operators. Having electric car charging made it as close to perfect for a luxury stay at a reasonable price you can get.
The location makes it a very good first or last night before or after Calais and a return to England.

This was my second time staying here. Great place to stay coming from or returning to the UK. The room is big and clean with a large bathroom. The shower is good and hot. Parking in the car park 2 minutes walk from the hotel. Friendly receptionist who spoke English. Very comfortable bed. Excellent value for money.
Located 5 minutes from the city centre of Bethune and on motorway A26, which connects Paris to Calais, Campanile Béthune - Fouquières-Les-Béthune has a garden and free WiFi access.
