Lovely town to explore over a two week Christmas period, with many surrounding areas of interest to visit, not least the Normandy Beaches. As a photographer, Honfleur has to rate very highly as a photogenic port. Lots of small, privately owned shops & galleries to explore. Some are almost unique in France, and we were pleasantly surprised with what we found. We walked everywhere in Honfleur and along the beach. The Naturospace is wonderful, and showcases the beauty of Mother Nature.

We only stayed for one night as a stopover on the way back to the Eurotunnel. We had visited before, but not appreciated just how much the town has to offer beyond the harbour area. Many great shops, bars and restaurants, and a lovely place to explore and watch the world go by. Some lovely villages and towns just inland as well. Well worth a longer stop next time!

This town is sooo pretty, we stayed only two nights, I think 3 nights is great. Lots of galleries, coffee shops, amazing little shops of everything. You can saty here as a base and then move to Mt. Saint Michelle and/or Etretat.

A lovely town with plenty to see within an easy walk: a harbour full of boats, ancient and quaint buildings, museums, art galleries, interesting boutiques and plenty of places to eat or to take a comfy seat, facing the water, order a drink and watch the world go by to the sounds of the vintage merry-go-round twirling on the quay.

Honfleur is a very pretty town with lots of great restaurants and independent shops to browse in. There are many car parks, spread around town. We had lunch at a small creperie. On the second night of our stay we ate at Les Escales, a restaurant recommended by our hotel owners. The ambience in the restaurant was warm and relaxed. The food was beautifully presented and delicious. Make sure you make a reservation the day before as they had no walk-ins available on the night.

Small boutique hotel located in the heart of the city. Much better then on pictures. Has an atmosphere of France with attention to very small details. Our room was big what is rare case for France. The bathroom contained both a shower and jacuzzi. Great breakfast. Fish market is located just in front of the hotel. And- lovely dog who is leaving here.
