The location was great to walk around Honfleur. We were initially given a room on the third floor but when we spotted the very narrow, winding staircase we asked for another room. The receptionist was very helpful in changing our room to the first floor and she also helped with one of our suitcases. We have managed stairs before but these are quite narrow.

We only stayed for one night as a stopover on the way back to the Eurotunnel. We had visited before, but not appreciated just how much the town has to offer beyond the harbour area. Many great shops, bars and restaurants, and a lovely place to explore and watch the world go by. Some lovely villages and towns just inland as well. Well worth a longer stop next time!

This town is sooo pretty, we stayed only two nights, I think 3 nights is great. Lots of galleries, coffee shops, amazing little shops of everything. You can saty here as a base and then move to Mt. Saint Michelle and/or Etretat.

A lovely town with plenty to see within an easy walk: a harbour full of boats, ancient and quaint buildings, museums, art galleries, interesting boutiques and plenty of places to eat or to take a comfy seat, facing the water, order a drink and watch the world go by to the sounds of the vintage merry-go-round twirling on the quay.

Honfleur is a very pretty town with lots of great restaurants and independent shops to browse in. There are many car parks, spread around town.
We had lunch at a small creperie. On the second night of our stay we ate at Les Escales, a restaurant recommended by our hotel owners. The ambience in the restaurant was warm and relaxed. The food was beautifully presented and delicious. Make sure you make a reservation the day before as they had no walk-ins available on the night.

Honfleur is a really lovely old town with a port/marina in Normandy. There's loads to do and see both in the town and the surrounding area, particularly if you like historical places. A car is definitely needed to get around with, although parking in the centre of Honfleur can get quite tricky in the evenings. It's a good base as well to visit other places in Normandy like Bayeux (Tapestry), Calvedos and other towns.

Absolutely beautiful, luxury boutique hotel right in the heart of Honfleur. Super stylish interior creating a cosy atmosphere with log fire, candles and curation of art objects, books and antiques. Breakfast served on white tablecloths with beautiful crockery and the most delicious coffee and pastries. But the hospitality and welcome of Francois and his colleagues really made the stay very special - and above and beyond expectation. Five stars.
Hotel du Dauphin couldn't be more centrally located in Honfleur; it is on a historic cobbled square, right opposite a beautiful timbered church and surrounded by very nice shops. Lovely timbered exterior. The rooms were fine, a little small, but nicely done and perfectly comfortable. We appreciated having a family room that could take all three of our children in one room.
We have styed at this hotel many times before, the location is very good, just a short walk from the port and the restaurants. We stayed in one of the deluxe rooms as usual as they are bigger rooms. We were able to park at the hotel even though space was limited. Will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Honfleur.
Fantastic hotel in the centre of town, perfect location with parking. Great pool which is an added bonus. The hotel is superb so quirky and the staff are all really friendly and helpful. We have been 3 times and will definitely be returning.
The hotel was lovely, the breakfast was perfect, we did enjoy the restaurant of the hotel very much. The situation was real close to the center of Honfleur which is a nice city as usual. I would recommend "Le Rituel Hotel & Spa".
