Beautiful and clean, staff were pleasant, it was enjoyable to stay there, we did not worry about our car as there were plenty of cameras they even welcomed our dog

Just 300 metres from Honfleur Harbour, Hotel La Diligence is located in Honfleur and has close access to Sainte Catherine Church. It offers a garden with outdoor furniture and free Wi-Fi access.
I like the B&B chain. They are a a little more expensive but usually a bit better than the other French budget hotel chains. One of the main benefits is the rooms are usually a good bit bigger but this one was disappointing with a room very small and it was a squeeze to get around the bed etc. As I had 2 small dogs with me who sleep on the floor NOT on the bed we had very little room!!!
It was our first experience in the B&B chain and I have to say comparing with other this type of Hotels pretty good one. Parking has chargers for E-cars, quite spacious, gates closing for the night. Room itself was clean, spacious, with comfortable bed. Walking distance to small restaurant and very close to attractions of Harfleur. Defenatelly will be back if next time in the area.
We booked this hotel as a stop over from a long drive up to Calais, it was cheap/clean & tidy didn’t expect the ritz, more of somewhere to get our head down & a shower.
Basic, we did have trouble getting in, machine was broken for online check in, had to do the 24hr service worked fine & they helped us check in.
That was probably our only issue & gripe.
The parking place was big enough, but it was open the whole night. The room was a little bit small and the window also. Maybe this building was formerly a premier classe hotel?
