Last years we've been in L'Aigle d'Or several times before and everytime it even seems better. Nice spacious room with big bed, perfect breakfast and great meals and wine. Service is very friendly. Nice garden to relax, beautifull surroundings for wanderers.

Good hotel in the quiet countryside but I heard the sound of cars goes by since the road was not so quiet. My carpet in the room had a stain for breaching and it looked a white bold spot on the carpet and the chain on the door was cut. So it seems like someone needed to be rescued by cutting the chain. I did not like the feeling when I saw the chain at the door was cut.
I enjoyed swimming in the hotel after busy travel day. Variety of breakfast was good but no scrambled eggs, bacons and sausages. I missed hot meals. We need to boil a raw egg at the breakfast by using a boiling equipment but unfortunately it did not worked well for me.
But the stay gives me a good valued of money since including a breakfast and the swimming pool with sauna.

An industrial place, with lot of new houses made mainly of concrete. The mountains are beautiful, of course, probably this city is a good starting point for climbing or montainbiking. But I can't see any other reason to stay there.
Lily is an amazing host. She was really welcoming and made sure everything was just great during our stay. We were driving from the Netherlands to Italy, and made a stop at La maison de Lili. The bed was great. The room was clean and Guebwiller was a nice village to walk to. Last but definitely not least, we loved Lili her homemade breakfast! C’est magnifique. We definitely recommend this place!
The hotel was very individual and quirky, a fascinating place to stay. we loved the breakfast format, extensive buffet with a massive selection of teas and crockery. Hard to adequately describe the character of the place which was really unique and special.
Breakfast was great and Brigitte & Gilbert are very welcoming and provided us with useful advice tips for our stay. Guebwiller is on the bicycle and car Alsace wine route.
