A big apartment with a nice view on the sea. Fortunately slightly away from the crowdy tourist peer. We really enjoyed the freshly prepared "fast food" in the bistro under the apartment.

The residence is one block away from the beach and thus affords amazing access to the lovely coastline. There are a couple places to get food nearby, including a boulangerie a couple doors down. The inside of the residence was well-decorated and cute, with a number of quirky features that you would not find elsewhere.

We visited here in the 1990s with our then young children and it was a thriving seaside resort with lots of bars and restaurants and a lovely family hotel This is now closed and out of season the town looked a bit run down
However its location is excellent for visiting the Normandy beaches so happy to have stayed there

Tour Eiffel, Norte dame even though not open until Dec 8 was Amazing to see under construction and what they have done. Eating in district. 7 was delicious. Norman helped point out good choices!
Hard to follow directions around town so jumped in cab to get us home at nighttime.

Supermarket is useful.
Restaurants only open in season others limited opening, cafe bar closes early.
Town has pharmacy and Crepe bar, few minimal gift shops.
Not much there.

Stayed with my family, a base to see the dday beaches. very spacious, safe parking and nice pool although we didn't get time to use. nice balcony with room for 6 to sit at. ate at fab seafood restaurant but plenty of other options.

If total relaxation and a peaceful environment is what you need, this has it all. Chateau appeal and good walking distance to everything really makes La Faisanderie such a wonderful and destination. Dominic and Elliot host the property and go above and beyond to accommodate our needs. We will return and stay longer next time

On arrival ant 5pm our apartment was not cleaned from the previous guests. Lady at reception assured us someone Would be along shortly to clean. On our return a few hours later the apartment was still not cleaned. After complaining again we were given a new apartment.

A beautiful location in the quiet countryside, yet only a 5min drive from Grandcamp-Maisy (restaurants/bar)
It is also conveniently located near Point Du Hoc, Utah beach and Saint-mere-Eglise.
A very big garden to relax in, and parking in front of your room. Nice bonus were the friendly horses across the entrance of the property.
The hostess was very friendly, accomodating and tried her best to speak english to us.
The highlight for me was the breakfast! Everything is prepared for you, it was all fresh and i think local produce.
An incredibly pleasant and comfortable place to relax during the D-day tour. Very convenient location (Utah Beach is about 30 minutes by car, Omaha Beach is 15 minutes). The hotel is very authentic and stylish. Breakfast was just great. The owner of the hotel, Monsieur Dominique, deserves special words of admiration and gratitude. Monsieur, thank you so much for your fantastic hospitality! I hope to see you again one wonderful day.
Refreshingly different from staying in the usual stereotype hotels. Our host was welcoming and attentive. The old style French farmhouse was an interesting mixture of old and new and set in beautiful surroundings. A comfortable bed, excellent continental breakfast served in our own dining room, great value for money. Couldn't have asked for more.
Convenient to the Normandy beach heads and associated Museums etc. We will stay again.
