Staff welcoming and friendly. Plenty of free parking. Room was small and clean. Beds good. Bathroom small and clean. Shower itself has no shower door so careful not to make floor too wet. Under shower the panel was loose and some cracked tiles on the wall. Toilett is separate from bathroom. Good value for money overall. 5min drive to town We had breakfast in town so no rating for the breakfast here.

Locals are friendly and it's one of my favourite starting point for travel to the south and explore the Ardennes.

One has to be impressed with the way the owners have taken...
One has to be impressed with the way the owners have taken an old chateau and turned it into a holiday venue. It has all the facilities you need with a great breakfast thrown in. The town itself is very pretty, wonderful to walk round with the river gently flowing past the town. Go there, it's worth the visit.

The property is close to Tour de France route, therefore, after coming off the main road, you pass charming little villages that you would not see otherwise. The location of the hotel is ideal - just at the entrance to Givet, with a huge shopping mall nearby, McDonalds, and pharmacy. The rooms were basic, but clean and comfortable for one night stay. Even if there were no cups and kettles in the rooms, there were vending machines on site for getting a drink or a snack.
We had a very nice two nights stay in Givet over the weekend. Great food in the local restaurants, a very warm but discreet host and a B+B that was perfect for two people, just one room in the place and exclusive access to a fully fitted kitchen for no extra charge should we were to have preferred to cook for ourselves. Lovely welcome and excellent breakfast, and if you can get there for the summer, breakfast in the garden would be divine.
The flat really conforms to the photos; nicely furnished/decorated and well equipped. 4 full bedrooms, with good beds and quiet nights.
The building is located opposite a large free parking, so that is not a problem. The surrounding streets look a bit neglected, but the inside of the house is the absolute opposite. Givet itself is a nice location for a few days with friends, walks and a restaurant/drink.
Lovely apartment and very kind host. We stayed for one night travelling with our kids and found the place very well equipped with really everything a family of four might need. The apartment is central in Givet just by the river. Terrific value for money. We would certainly recommend.
