This is a truly extraordinary hotel, set in a unique and stunningly beautiful location. The hotel is located about a 45 minutes walk on a good trail from Gavarnie (they will collect your luggage and transport by 4x4). On arrival you stay at the only building located within the glorious Circque de Gavarnie, a stunning location that Victor Hugo called "the Colosseum of Nature." The hotel is absolutely top quality and is possibly one of the most Romantic hotels on the Planet! Unique, remote and exceptional in every way. Nice apartment fairly large for 2 with additional high sleeper for kids, good location near the sites of the '3 cirques'. Warm water for the shower. Enough blankets. The owner answered the phone (sometimes after a few hours) to give answers to my questions.

Great location in the heart of Luz-St-Sauveur, very close to a number of cafes and restaurants. Charming old property with comfortable rooms. The staff were very courteous and helpful. Good breakfast.
The location was stunning and our room had a small balcony with a view toward Cirque de Gavarnie. The room was clean and bright and the bed comfortable. The host Katrina and her staff were all friendly and very helpful. Some English was spoken. Katrina offered advice on the area and routes to see the Gavarnie Falls and advised on other places to visit in the area. Katrina also provided a lovely traditional evening meal for guests.
It was self-catering. The location in the centre of the wonderful village of Gavarnie was perfect. The village shop with adequate supplies was no more than a two minute walk away. There was a balcony with chairs, a table and a bit of a mountain view. The low-level bed was OK. The other, small bedroom has two bunk beds which are fairly small.
Very friendly and helpful staff. We were well looked after, particularly regarding the loan of an ice-pack to ease a troublesome back problem plus walking poles to aid a lovely walk to the Cirque de Gavarnie. Great views of the Cirque from the front of the hotel. Safe parking for our motorcycle.
The location was exceptional! You could not ask for anything better. Breakfast was simple and delicious. The view was amazing. Parking was close and included. For the price, the hotel was perfect. The Lady working the desk and breakfast was exceptionally friendly and helpful!
