The parking was secure with a code entry gate. The breakfast was a good basic level. The staff who were present from Monday morning (not Sunday early evening when we arrived) were very friendly. The room was spacious and clean.

We stayed in Queens suite which was very big. Very clean and excellent rooms . We booked two rooms, and requested to have them close together. But to my surprise we got adjoining rooms which was excellent and convenient. Beds were comfortable.

The room was splendid though i had hoped to have a room in the original house.
Breakfast was good though the gentleman had to manage both the restaurant and the reception which was perhaps a stretch.

Situated about a 10 minute walk from the Station, through an outdoor car park and back streets but seemed safe at night. We arrived early so unable to check in but left our luggage in the locked storage room. The staff was friendly and helpful.
Room was spacious and comfortable with coffee/tea facilities. (Just note that if you like milk in your tea or coffee none is provided. There is a large Carrefour and Aldi around 10 minute walk to purchase any groceries required)

Our room was quite small but workable (would have liked tea/coffee facilities in the room), breakfast was very good. Staff all very helpful and professional. The location is excellent so, so easy to get to the most beautiful Gothic cathedral (where in the past Kings were crowned) and even before you get there you will pass handsome buildings (I would recommend seeing both the cathedral and these buildings lit up in the evening). A beautiful city. Just as an aside the Italian restaurant near the hotel called La Villa I would say avoid it, sadly we did not and it was circa £60 - 2 small beers were good but the pizza base on both ours were undercooked and the filling was slimy and inedible. The waiter described it as a “classic”!!!
