It was actually a nice surprise. I have no experience with the Ibis hotels. That was the only hotel in that region where I had to travel for work.
The hotel has a parking right in front.There is even a possibility to have diner.
The staff at the reception was absolutely lovely. It was very clean (I'm difficult).
Note that it's just in front of a beautiful lake. Even though the window of my room was quite small I still could view the lake. I stayed in room 223.
There was a shower / bathtub.
The bed was comfortable enough.
It's also possible to bring your pet for an extra fee (I think they said 15 EUR).

The room was beautiful. Christelle was very welcoming , friendly and helpful. We needed a late check in and she was accommodating. Lovely querky breakfast. Secure gated parking at the house. We would strongly recommend Maison Magdala.

An unexpectedly generous breakfast, consisting of a selection of brioche breads, and the fridge filled with an assortment of produce.
Very comfortable and good sized bed, with lights over the bed resembling a night sky.
In door and private jacuzzi and steam room to use at your own leisure was a big bonus!
Also the general area is absolutely beautiful and the neighbourhood is so quite.
The breakfast was excellent, bread just out of the bakery, nice cheese, jam, and meat. The hotel is an old aristocratic building, well renovated, with quality furniture, etc. The pool and jacuzzi were also nice with a good view of the backyard.
