Location was in the middle of old part of the town. Staff were helpful and accommodating. Room was comfortable, albeit small (which is generally the case in France). Got a double room with an adjoining single room for our teenage daughter. Good shower & water pressure.

best western was excellent, and the town itself was lovely, a lovely woodland walk led us to the medieval castle, which itself was well worth the visit. restaurants and bars a plenty. walks were on the hilly side but some wonderful views.

Beautiful historic city. We were just passing through, but discovered a really picturesque town to which we would gladly return.
Off season for us, so the castle only had restricted opening hours, but the walk around the outside was more than adequate. Plenty of free parking around town.

Lots of fantastic views and old stone buildings. A well signed posted walking route covers all the places of interest in an easy way. Still worth visiting in depths of winter. There are also usual shops and lots of creperies - maybe not a huge choice in winter, but even on a late Sunday evening we got a meal.

The hostess was lovely and ready to oblige at any moment. Parking was free nearby which was a bonus. We appreciated the larger bed and access to fridge and kitchen. The location was very quiet and not far from the gardens and castle. The supermarket was also close by.
Quite near to free car park and able to park for short time near apartment to load and unload . Easy walking distance to town centre. Apartment comfortable, lots of stairs. Everything we needed in apartment, laundrette a few steps across road.
Modern hotel with large comfortable rooms. Very quiet. Plenty of parking space. Very helpful air-conditioning under unusually hot weather in Brittany. Good breakfast.
