Breakfast was wonderful with the owner's homemade jams and yogurts. The owners greeted us and were very hospitable throughout our visit. Beautiful old castle. Overall I would recommend this B&B.

The only strong point of this rental is that its located in the tower of a chateau. The chateau is worth a visit from outside but definitely not worth this booking. My partner and I work in the hospitality business.
The lady that owns this place is fabulous. She drove us to a supermarket 4klms away and waited for us, as there are no shops in Donneville which is a little strange we think. It is not a tourist area even though the Canal is close.
