Perfect unit for cyclists on the EuroVelo 6. It has secure storage for our bikes, a washing machine, a well equipped kitchen to cook our meals, and there was an Aldi within walking distance. The unit is close to the cycle/canal route and this end of town is very quiet. It is a one floor walkup, but the stairs are good. Rainforest shower, plenty of hot water, great wifi and lots of room to spread out. Host texted up check-in details and keybox codes worked perfectly - no fuss. We loved it and wished we could stay longer.

I and my man felt privileged to stay in such a handsome post-industrial building in the intriguing town of Digoin.
The flat was perfectly appointed to a high contemporary standard, clean and uber-spacious. Even the staircase leading up to it was an aesthetic delight. Disabled travellers will find it as difficult as any... but it is not many steps.
Undercover bicycle parking, oven and hotpla
On arrival the receptionist offered the use of the hotel private garage to park my motorbike and then provided a spreader plate to stop my stand sinking into the gravel.The room was large, with a balcony overlooking, the court yard and river. The food and drink in the restaurant was excellent but at price. English was spoken to fill in the gaps of my poor French.
The hotel location was good, being right next to the canal. Outside seating and the bonus of a swimming pool.
The staff were very friendly, and the food was excellent as you would expect from a Logis Hotel.
the hotel is located at a great place nearby the Loire and gives a really nice vibe. We also had dinner and it was delicious. We would definitely stay here next time again.
