Absolutely loved this beautiful hotel and location. Great staff, who were warm and friendly, particularly great service from Christina and Lucy. Service was swift, nothing too much trouble, I requested an iron, twice, delivered instantly. Breakfast was delicious, fabulous table service, and a choice of how your eggs were cooked. Location is like a film set, very picturesque but we equally felt very comfortable and relaxed. Within walking distance of several restaurants, we liked Bouchon, delicious tapas from the travels of two friends. We also enjoyed people watching at Cafe Gaby! I cannot hesitate to recommend this hotel enough, totally exceeded our expectations. Thank you!

A great small hotel, super friendly, helpful staff. Comfortable room that was very clean really loved the laid back feel of the place. Great pool area that never got too busy, nice breakfast, hame it didn’t do dinner! Amazing just to walk 800m to the town with lots of good restaurants to visit. We didn’t want to leave but will definitely be back next year!

We had a wonderful stay. Anne and her husband were execptional hosts and went out of their way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. We stayed with a big group and they were very accomidating. An easy walk into town for cafes and restaurants. And well situated for exploring nearby towns. Can highly reccomend!

Overall a lovely stay - we originally had room 3 which is one of the small rooms (room 1 is the other) and really struggled with the room set up - basically no storage, no where to put bags, fridge on the floor, just a very hard room for 2 people to stay in. The Bed and Shower were great. We then asked to more to a larger room and moved to The Grand Salon (room 2) which was absolutely lovely, great views down the main street, super shower and a completely different experience from the other room. Great bed, super clean - again some silly little things (why is the Fridge on the floor?) but a nice stay in a pretty village. Would recommend for Room 2, but not for the small rooms.

Cucuron has a beautiful big manmade pond / bassin in the city center that is surrounded by really tall Plane trees. It is stunning in the day and spectacular when all lit up at night. There are several bars and restaurants around the pond from which to choose (we avoided some due to bad reviews). Play it safe and get reservations as we saw people get turned away. We chose a Monday night because they have a very nice market on Tuesday mornings. You can take a walk around the old village and see where it was a fortified village at one time. One day and evening was plenty for us to see and do what we wanted.

Beautiful views surround the quaint village of Cucuron, exceptional food and drink are served in the restaurants within the village. The people are friendly and always willing to help. Le Petite Maison & Matcha serve highly rated food on the evenings. Le Cercle de cucuron serve amazing lunch menu, great price and friendly atmosphere! The bakery is great for a morning snack! Lots of great hiking trails but would recommend hiring a car to travel from small town to town! We visited the cinema which was lovely too! The basin on water in the centre of the village is truly remarkable, such a lovely view to enjoy food and drinks around. L’etang Restaurant is right by the basin of water and serves the most beautiful fish I have ever eaten, would highly recommend.
An excellent location from which to explore the numerous hill towns, rivers, lakes and lavender fields of the Luberon, made all the better with a wonderful pool to cool off after a day out before heading out to eat in the wonderful restaurants in nearby Ansouis and Cucuron. But the thing that really makes this stand out as an exceptional place to stay is the host, Florence, who was perfect in every way. Lovely company, brilliant breakfasts and full of really good recommendations on what to do in the area.
The rooms have been renovated recently with eye for detail . Very spacious with lovely bathroom . Mini bar was offered and we got a bottle of local wine as welcome gift. The hotel is situated along the bassin offering great views if your room faces the terrace. Other room faced the garden with lounge chairs. Great atmosphere and friendly welcome. You receive a detailed message with instructions for check-in and private parking access Breakfast served outside on the terrace at democratic price
Loved everything about this hotel. We’ve visited Cucuron on numerous occasions over the years while holidaying in Provence. We decided to have a one night stay over this time and thoroughly enjoyed it. The hotel is quaint, and the food was very good, right in the centre.
Location and authentic rustic french hotel experience, the le 20 restaurant was great next door also, we came for the movie experience and got it in full.
