For the price this was quite average. The room was very small and I hadn’t realized this.

The room was excellent although I had to get used to the room card to get electricity, push the button by the do to operate heater and three-minute showers.
The Hotel Le Ceitya is located in the heart of the city near the train station, the harbor, the casino and the area beaches.

I’ve visited Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie many times over the last 20-odd years but never stayed here until now. It was a superb choice: close to the cycle route, 15 mins from three excellent bakeries and one minute from the promenade. There’s a good choice of restaurants, ice cream parlours, kiosks and bars within 5-6 minutes’ walk and the two towns just a bit further in the other direction.
I would recommend the area to anyone: there are activities for the whole family, for beach fans or people looking for cultural days out. It’s worth going just for the food but the scenery is spectacular with some fantastic sunsets. The weather is changeable but all you need is decent clothing. Top tip: visit Boulangerie Bleue in Saint Gilles for superb bread and some interesting desserts!

We arrived on bikes absolutely exhausted and soaked through after a long day’s cycling in terrible weather. The welcome that we received from Eric was wonderful. A great secure facility for the bikes and beautiful room with everything we could wish for . Fantastic bathroom and comfortable bed. Eric was a real pleasure to meet, a real gentleman and had a great sense of humour
This hotel has a fantastic location right in the market square. There is secure underground parking right underneath the hotel. Check-in staff were friendly and helpful, coming down into the car park when we were unsure where to leave our bike.
The room and bathroom were clean and fairly spacious, and we received new towels on each night of our stay.
