Clean no fuss room. Breakfast (€10) was standout and excellent quality. Staff were engaging, spoke good English and made the stay.
Located in Coudekerque-Branche, 1.5 km from Dunkerque Train Station, and Plopsaland reachable within 20 km, *Villa Marine*La Vigie - Duplex offers a private beach area, a garden and free WiFi.
Problem was I never got to stay. I had contacted the hotel to ask them to postpone by a day and.received a "no problem, sir" reply. I arrived at 8.00pm only to be told that they were full and had messaged and phoned me about it. I can't find any messages or missed call and the proprietor is unwilling to try to find what happened.
. This hotel has a great restaurant. Top quality food at sensible prices for breakfast, lunch or dinner you will be delighted. The hotel is functional and ideal for one night stays. at prices so much less than a Belgian place just down the road
The hotel restaurant evening meal was exceptional quality. The breakfast was really good. The owner was friendly. Parking was free in a public carpark directly opposite the hotel.
