I recommend Gite Mido most highly, it’s faultless! We were welcomed warmly, to a charming traditional house with spotless modern amenities. The breakfast is superb and I m sure much of it is homemade. This place is a treasure.

The warmth and humour of the staff who appeared to genuinely enjoy their jobs. We had an opportunity to eat outside on the terrace. Good choice of menu. View over the lake.

We made a day trip to Nantes by train which was very easy to undertake. The hotel is only a ten minute walk from the station.

It has good cycle paths to explore but a car is essential for getting to the property.
