An unusual and very attractive house, and a comfortable bedroom with good facilities. The owners were most welcoming and very friendly, and were desperate to know if there was anything they could do to make our stay even better. They recommended a local pizzeria and other more upmarket eateries: great recommendations. An excellent and extremely plentiful breakfast. Altogether great - and there are red squirrels in the garden.

Restaurant attached to the hotel is really good, breakfast on a morning serves a good continental.
Staff working at the hotel and the restaurant very nice and extremely helpful. Nothing was too much trouble to help.
Room and the daily room cleaning was very good.
It is a about a 5 to 10 min walk from the centre of things but don’t let that put you off as it is a nice start to the day and river is same sort of distance in down the hill as oppose to the town which is up.
Handy supermarket about 2 to 5 min walk as well.
