Ski rental is outside the apartment and a button lift to small green run and 2 other button lifts to blue runs are a few metres away plus a gondola you can ski to within 2 mins which goes up higher. Our apartment contact Celine was very friendy and helpful and we kept in touch via text.

We spent a week-end skiing at Chamrousse at the very biggining of the season. I found this ski resort very peaceful, clean and nice, for skiing but also for sightseeing or just for taking long walks. There are ski slopes for every level. I personnaly loved it. I have to go another time, during the holidays. It might get very busy and loud

A really family friendly, good value resort for skiing. Perfect for self catering (not much apres skiing night life), a great range of slopes for beginners to advanced, really easy to get around...we have been 6 years running!

We went for skiing during Christmass to Chamrousse.
We went for skiing during Christmass to Chamrousse. It was amazing!! Absolutely no crowd, plenty of nice pistes with an amazing view! Chamrousse has 3 main locations for ski lifts nd it is very convenient to go from one location to another. You can do it through many pistes or take a free bus which goes every 20 minutes. It has a lot of winter activities apart of skiing: nordic ski area, luges slopes. It is great for family with kids, because in one part it has a ski Kid park, has also ski park for advanced jumps.
The only good thing about the property is the location. The location is very good! It is very close to a sledge slope for the children, close to very nice restaurants and bar and especially very close to the téléski (Bachat). you have a free shuttle that can take everywhere else you want.
You are also on top of the supermarket so very handy for every morning fresh bread!
the Bachat village is prettier than the main resort in Chamrousse 1750 to my eyes.
Village Bachat is not the main ski station in Chamrousse however it has accessible green lines which is perfect for our group which contains some ski beginners.
The host is nice and communicative. We were able to profit the appartment from the morning when we arrive because there were no clients the night before, which save us some baggage deposit costs.
The mountaint view is mesmerizing, especially on sunny days.
Overall wonderful experience
Perfect location: right by the bus drop-off/pick-up from Grenoble, hop away from the slopes/ski lifts, and pretty much all the amenities you need downstairs: equipment rental, restaurants, excellent bakery, and even a grocer! The apartment is also spacious for 2 people, possibly cosy for 4, and well heated. I'll stay again if I return to Chamrousse!
