This property is gorgeous and a real treat to have stayed in such a beautiful building. The owners are fabulous hosts. Nothing was any trouble. I arrived and asked about using the pool. It was immediately made available for me to use. I had always wanted to stay in a Chateau and this did not disappoint. Our room was amazing.

Pleasant enough small town but don't expect to find much in the way of entertainment and don't expect restaurants to be open on a Sunday and many stay closed until Tuesday. We liked The Terrace and Louis XIII but spent a long time wandering around to find these places. However, well placed to travel to the coast for trips.

Lovely romantic setting for any couple, owners friendly and welcoming. Breakfast excellent. Pool was a bonus, as were the white storks nesting on two of the chateau chimneys! Close to Challans with a good range of shops and restaurants.
Very friendly and polite staff. Swimming pool and tennis court were clean and atmosphere overall excellent. The warm croissants in breakfast were extremely delicious. Would definitely recommend this hotel for everyone.
