We had a fabulous stay at Marc’s house…perfect location and Marc and his lovely wife took us on a bike ride with the children through vineyards to a wonderful lake. Thank you for a great stay and we will definitely visit again 😀

Chablis seemed to be a town where people come to have an expensive meal and drink some fine wine. The town did not have many or any bistros, only high end restaurants that were totally booked on the night we were in town. Hence our dinner consisted of a charcuterie board at a local bar. I highly recommend reserving dinner in advance before visiting this town.

Warm welcome, one feels always confident, free parking, very good kitchen due to a limited choice, incredible wine card, nice place, easy to find...
We had a congress close to the hotel. So we didn't stay beyond 1 night. We had dinner there.
Suggestion : also visit Noyers s/ Serein, not far away, medieval city. Very nice !
ATT : if you join the A6 from Noyers, you can only go south. Impossible to go back north. GPS's know. They are aware of this stupidity.

Sweet little town.
Sweet little town. An afternoon and a night there was enough for us. We found a great little restaurant for dinner and a very helpful and obliging lady in a wine shop. We came across a 12th. Century synagogue, but unfortunately it's only open once a year in July (we were there in June).

Chablis is a beautiful French village, surrounded by beautiful slopes that produce some of the best Chardonnay in the world, in our opinion. The central village is small, picturesque and very pleasant to explore on foot. There is free parking (even overnight) in the Saint Martin car park. The surrounding countryside is beautiful to explore on foot or by car.
We enjoyed the wine tasting at Domaine LaRoche in the centuries old winery in the former monastery located at the center of the village. We also enjoyed a tasting at Domaine Jean-Marc Brocard, about 10 minutes south of town by car; besides great wine, they have a fascinating underground room revealing an actual cross section of the various soil types as you go deeper (and further back in time), all of which goes into the magic of the local wines.
We would love to go back for another day or two sometime.

This was our first time visiting Chablis and we loved it.
This was our first time visiting Chablis and we loved it. We stayed in a hotel in the center of town that we thoroughly enjoyed.
Everything was within walking distance, so we never had to move the car once we parked it. There is a spacious free, parking lot as street parking would be difficult.
The town was very charming. We enjoyed walking around and stopping into some of the little shops. Of course, Chablis is home to some fabulous wines and wineries, so we did our share of tasting.
We just arrived home and we are already talking about returning to see the things we couldn't get to on this trip.

We have visited Chablis a number of times, this trip was the first time we have stayed; 2 nights at Chez Bea was the perfect accommadation in the Centre of Chablis, providing easy walkable access to the Chablis Wine establisments and numerous Restaurants, all of a high standard.
Our 2 cocker spaniels welcome at Chez Bea, and also in the Restaurants.
Chablis Sunday Markets are very good with many high standard local produce to choose from.
P.S. On Market days the main highstreet is closed; If you are thinking of leaving Chablis on a Sunday by car, check with the local Tourist information for a route out of the town.

The quality of the gîte was fantastic, the airconditioned rooms spacious and comfortable and the shower excellent. The garden is exceptionally pretty and obviously very well cared for.
I love that it is a short walk to the city centre of Chablis where you can find numerous bakeries and excellent restaurants. Also the proximity to other wine regions was very nice, however that is just part of begin located in Chablis.
The hosts were very hospitable and as we told then, we will definitely come back.
Really spacious, light, comfortable apartment with beautiful modern decor. There is a lovely outdoor terrace where you can enjoy a wine tasting (which we did)
We loved the quiet location and it was an easy walk into the town. The hosts were lovely and left us a nice bottle of their wine. Chablis is a really pretty village and a great base for exploring the area.
The location was fantastic and The Old Mill Hotel is definitely one on its own. Our room overlooked the river and is the one in the main photo (Room 2). Book this, you won’t be disappointed.
A spacious and very central appartment to experience Chablis and surroundings. Good Communication with host. Clean and nice, but a bit Dark in Living room.
