The family running the hotel were extremely helpful.
The hotel was in a good location, opposite the beach, the port was a few minutes' walk away and the centre of town about 10 minutes' walk. There were several restaurants very close to the hotel.
Secure, paid parking can be arranged in advance.
We felt our stay here was very good value.

Absolutely beautiful, clean beach and promenade. Lots of restaurants, mostly with a similar menu and will work out expensive - we stocked up from the local mini supermarket. Not much to do activity-wise, especially if you come out of season in September and don't have a hire car. Quiet resort. Taxis are expensive but buses are cheap and often - you will have to travel into Perpignan to get to other places. We took a train down to Collioure. Could have taken a boat but far too windy when we were there.

French style honky tonk. Just gotta love it. Walkable, with lots of restaurants, and some good ones ( we found a terrific one 2 Blocks from our hotel) also as to what you’d expect @ a beach resort lots of choices for ice cream incl Amrino Italian gelato ( my wife’s favorite)
Cool bonus- a pedestrian street with lots of cheesy joints where you can buy what Mexicans call “Cochinadas “ ie stuff you ask yourself later, say what? !
Yet there were a few bars along ,it one of which enabled me to have a much needed cocktail .,
So pleasantly surprising and yes, I’d go back.

Lovely place. Best beaches and plenty of space for everyone. Good facilities for families and lots of bars and restaurants to pick from. The harbour end of the beach has a big new aquarium attraction and there’s jet skis boats and other stuff to hire and a big wheel which is worth a go especially at night all illuminated. Perpignan is easily accessible on bus and taxis.

A lovely place which exceeded our expectations. We went at the very start of the season (early June), so plenty of places open but not crowded at all. Some great places to eat, including the beach shacks all along the beach.

It's a family seaside resort.
It's a family seaside resort. Very friendly with large expanse of Sandy beach and a clear blue sea. Did have quite a bit of wind so a beach shelter would have been handy. Plenty of walks and cycle paths too. Not the easiest location if you are vegetarian. If you don't want to eat out everyday there is a Carrefour along beachfront and a Lidl and supermarket a little further inland

We found Canet to be a lovely resort even just before the season started. A wide range of facilities and gorgeous wide sandy beaches. Plenty for families in the day and nightlife at night. It is very windy - worth beating this in mind!

It was a great surprise because we improvised when we decided to go to Canet-en-Roussillon. Both hotel and town are amazing.
Spacious room and toilet, everything very clean.
Super kind and nice staff.
The breakfast is really good.
They offer free parking in front of the hotel. If there is no availability, you can park in the streets nearby.
And they have indoor swimming pool with warm water. Wonderful. :-)
