Friendly reception; the courtesy kettle & coffee & tea was appreciated (and I made use of them), the room was tidy and clean, so no issues at all with cleanliness. No bed bugs either, I'm pleased to report. The room was warm enough that I didn't need to pull the blanket over myself. The bed was comfortable, and I got a good night's sleep (much needed).

This was a much needed overnight stop after an incident 'M25' filled Northern Uk to port trip . A just in time Dover ferry and a closed motorway from Calais - Boulogne meant a diversion and a late night . I don't want to talk about short flush toilets and reusable plastic straws . The guy on the desk did his level best to talk us in as we got lost in Boulogne at the wrong Ibis , a human being doing his best . The room was spot on and it was one of the quietest hotels I have EVER stayed in . If you want to talk about renewables . Yes ,I would 'renew' my acquaintance with this hotel on my next time in town . Re- useables . Yes ,I would re-use this hotel on my next time in town . If we carry on down this review route I guarantee a question will be , did the room have edible curtains !! I will be back for a good host , a comfy bed and a clean, quiet room .That is my requirements... Glen Valentine...

surprisingly a great fishing town better than the flamish Belgium coastal towns , people are tranquil and friendly , food is surprisingly great and cheaper, shoppers would also like it , foodies would love it , hiking and trekking places can be discovered in near by communes , do visit historic museums , fort and castles around also the crypt museum

We liked the old town but the rest of it was very down at heel and disappointing. It may be the that building work on the other side will improve the area but as we were staying in the middle of the works it was very unattractive

With only 24 hours, we only saw the old town, which is unspoilt (the most important feature for us of any destination). There were excellent traditional family run restaurants offering good traditional French food at reasonable prices. The ramparts offer a relaxing an interesting walk and the castle and cathedral a bit of culture.

Great place if you are interested in fishing, sea, seafood.

Great place if you are interested in fishing, sea, seafood. The historical city is worth a short visit. A lot of choice in restaurants and fish shops. Nice beach and waterfront sites. A part of the marina neigbourhoud is under reconstruction, the result will be very nice.

The apartment was very nice, well equiped, clean and spacious. The best part is its location, within the historic town which is quite amazing! It is about a 10 minute walk to the town centre. A small downside ....The room took a long time to warm up. We went early January to Boulogne sur Mer and it was freezing temperature! Stephanie our Agent was very helpful and always available to assist.

The apartment overlooks a square in the busy old town surrounded by the town ramparts. It is nicely decorated and very comfortable with a modern bathroom and furnishings. It's well situated for walking around Boulogne or as a stop for further transit. Easy, free parking a few metres away.
