The seafront was nice and has a beach and a few restaurants - we didn't stay nearby, instead we stayed further up near the old town. We much preferred the atmosphere here. Lovely old city walls to walk around and a quaint square with bars and restaurants. The crypt is also up here and worth a visit.

We liked the old town but the rest of it was very down at heel and disappointing. It may be the that building work on the other side will improve the area but as we were staying in the middle of the works it was very unattractive

With only 24 hours, we only saw the old town, which is unspoilt (the most important feature for us of any destination). There were excellent traditional family run restaurants offering good traditional French food at reasonable prices. The ramparts offer a relaxing an interesting walk and the castle and cathedral a bit of culture.

Great place if you are interested in fishing, sea, seafood.
Great place if you are interested in fishing, sea, seafood. The historical city is worth a short visit. A lot of choice in restaurants and fish shops. Nice beach and waterfront sites. A part of the marina neigbourhoud is under reconstruction, the result will be very nice.

We loved the location and the spaciousness of the flat. The kitchen is small but well equipped in case you want to cook some simple meals. There are lots of restaurants, cafés and bars nearby which make this area lively but we didn't find it too noisy. The parking place closby is a big plus, too. The owner was very helpful through his messages. It's a perfect flat for a couple if you want to spend a few nights in between the walls of the old town of Boulogne-Sur-Mer.
The flat is very located between the historical Old Town and the Boulogne port and shops. The location is quiet and has a good feel about it. The flat was clean, warm and comfortable, even the bed and fairly well equipped. Every items look new and even the TV but some critical items are missing.
This is a wonderful light, spacious and well equipped apartment, with the feel of an expensive hotel - high quality bed linen and sparkling clean throughout. It's particularly great if you are driving to Boulogne, as there is plenty of free parking outside the building.
Everything. Could not fault a single thing of this absolutely lovely homely place. It was right in the centre of Old Town Boulogne surrounded by great cafes, bars, restaurants and amazing heritage buildings.
