The owners were so welcoming and friendly. The rooms were not large but were very comfortable. Having parking available was great. Breakfast was great and fresh. I plan to visit again next time in the area.

Boulazac has commercial trading estates which are useful for accessing supermarkets and petrol stations but not for tourists unless the accommodation is found on the outskirts where there are quiet and tranquil residential areas and semi-rural locations to be enjoyed. It is, however, very close to Perigueux with its tourist attractions and gastronomic cuisine. It is also well placed for visiting the Dordogne and all of its attractions by car.

Hotel was amazing - newly re-furbished the welcome was amazing - Richard came and greeted us and showed us where to park and took our bags. The reception area and lounge were superb. Sadly we had dinner planner otherwise we would have eaten here - but we were offered an amuse bouche with drinks which were great. The staff were so helpful and attentive. Breakfast was great - a large array of pastries, fruit, bread and then eggs cooked anyway we wanted.
A perfect stop-over for our family as we traveled through Dordogne, and a welcome break from hotels. It was nice to be able to cook our own food and to have a little space to ourselves. The weather was bad so I can't say we enjoyed the pingpong or any other amenities listed. But the shower was strong and hot and I got to see out over a foggy and rainy field from the window, which was nice. The owner/manager was really friendly, too.
Friendly reception staff helped us order pizza to be delivered to the hotel by speaking with the local company for us in french.
Simple comfortable rooms and showers were spotless.
Everything was more clean and new than I expected and than you can meet in similar hotels in bigger cities. Accessible by public transport from the city center.
