Filthy disgusting hotel
In a really trashy part of town.
This charming hotel is located in the central pedestrianised area of Lille, only 300 metres from the Monument à la Liberté de Lille and 550 metres from Nouveau Siècle Convention Centre.

the personnel was superhelpful and friendly, facilities were clean, the rooms were serviceable and the location of the hotel was very practical, close to both main railway stations and the city centre.

It was close to Lille and easy to drive there and find parking. Free parking at hotel. There were three restaurants in walking distance of the hotel to eat out in the evening. The best thing was the small airfield nearby where you could watch the planes take off and the people come down by parachute. Very little noise as only very small planes. The sunsets there were stunning as the hotel faced west. There was a huge Carrefour at the next motorway junction which was very handy.
Room nice. Comfy bed. Shower worked well - nice and hot. Very clean. Friendly English speaking staff. Lovely small airfield next to hotel with bar overlooking it with outside seating. No noise in hotel as only small planes fly there, but very interesting to watch them take off and parachute down. Local beer, Pelican, really good too. A couple of restaurants near to hotel which were very good. Free breakfast nice as well.
I love the room, decoration, size, comfort, the privacy, the bathroom … it feels more like “home”, like a “tiny apartment” than “hotel” and when you’re a frequent traveler it’s sth you take into consideration.
The breakfast you can ask for the right time for your breakfast, and not only … freshly made coffee, butter, jams, bread, fruit … and scrambled eggs …

The hotel was in a good location, with a great view of the parachute school. The room was nice, the bed was comfortable and the staff were very helpful and accommodating.
