This place is really a jewel, and we'd love to go back. Right on the river, surrounded by lovely woods, it's a beautiful old converted mill. We loved the setting, the comfortable and spacious room, and the delicious dinner and breakfast at the Moulin du Bateau. Our host was very welcoming and we felt immediately at ease. Nearby, we saw two eagles and a deer, and the remarkable ruins of the Chateau de Leotoing.

Beautiful little village nestled in the French hills. We were only stopping for a night en route through France but we’re very pleasantly surprised by the little gem which feels like stepping back in time a few hundred years.

We found this delightful place purely by accident on our way back from Spain. What an unexpected joy. The medieval village of Blesle is beautiful, even in the rain.The proprietor/chef welcomed us at reception and showed us to our quaint room. The evening meal was french cuisine of the highest order. The bed was comfortable and the shower was great. The two ladies who worked in the restaurant were perfect and despite my shocking lack of French were charming.
Lovely place in a very pretty village. Toon is friendly and welcoming, and we enjoyed drinks in the bar that is part of the property. Couldn’t fault the room, warm, pretty, ensuite. No breakfast but boulangerie in the village so you can buy croissants and enjoy with a coffee back at the hotel. Restaurants and cafes in village but the were all closed while we were there (a snowy Sunday night in Jan)
Booked this hotel last minute. Booking was very easy. We was greeted by Toon who was an excellent host. Our room was beautiful and quirky and location was breathtaking! Thank you for an amazing stay :-)
