Super attentive hosts, the small house was beautifully decorated and we had a great morning coffee! We would advise light sleepers to bring earplugs as the road can be noisy in the evening
Hotel situated on the edge of Bitche town with an impressive view over the citadel (hence the name, presumably). Simple but comfortable room, with everything you could reasonably expect at this price. Enjoyable restaurant; outside dining possible when weather permits, which was the case for us. Good simple food well executed. Try the rösti with various toppings. The summer fruit sorbet was great too. Good breakfast, mainly cold food but you could boil your own egg.
