The Gite is couple of kilometres from the next town, and away from the road so it was very quiet. The owners were very welcoming, and happy to host our dog, who became friends with their dog. The hosts also kindly supplied us with milk, eggs, butter and jam on the day of our arrival, which was a life-saver, and the little treats of caramel and chocolate were a lovely touch.
The house is small but very clean, when we booked we overlooked the fact that you get to the bedroom via a ladder, which was fine for us but may be a problem for less mobile people.

Very nice cottage with large rooms and comfy beds with a great garden for our small dog to run around when it wasn't raining. Didn't visit the forest due the weather however we will defiantly come back.
